If your stay is less than 90 days and your country is not listed above, you do not need a visa. If your stay is longer than 90 days, you need a visa.

The spouse or domestic partner and minor or disabled children may obtain a visa to accompany the student.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY STUDENT VISA?

  • To follow a program of studies at an authorized institution of higher education, which are undertaken for the award of a recognized higher education degree, which may include a preparatory course for such higher education or a compulsory training internship.
  • Study Spanish or other official or co-official languages in Spain in schools and academies accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.
  • Work up to 30 hours per week.
